Wilma CHRISTINE Shields

Wilma Christine Shields (Rogers) of Batavia, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 9th, 2015. Wilma was born to Frank and Pearl Rogers on September 13th 1914. She was the loving wife of the late Robert Shields. She was preceded in death by (3) Sisters and (4) brothers, and Son Randy Shields, Grandson Michael Rath and granddaughter, Cindy Crenshaw. Loving Mother of Gloria Fahrlender, Ronald (Kay) Shields, Linda Rath, Tom (Pauline) Shields, Debbie (Jim) Moore. She has 17 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren. She also leaves one Sister Betty (Don) Norvell of Danville, Kentucky. Wilma was a long time member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church/Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Wilma celebrated her 100th birthday in September with many close friends and family. Services will be at Emmanuel United Methodist Church 4312 Amelia Olive Branch Road, Batavia, on Thursday January 15th with Vistation from 10:00 to 12:00 and Services being at 12:00. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel United Methodist Church’s United Methodist Women’s organization.
