William E. Jobe Jr.

July 22, 1925 — February 20, 2022

AMELIA - US NAVY VETERAN, WWII, William Everett Jobe, Age 96. Husband of the late Ruth B. Jobe (nee Holt). Son of the late William E. and Fannie Mae Jobe (nee Sipple). Brother of his late siblings Henry, Virginia, Dorothy, Marie, Betty, Iris, and Irene. Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews. 
He was very proud of his service to his country. William served on the islands in the Pacific and was an ammunition specialist. He was also a retiree from Ford Motor company working in all 3 Ohio sites, Fairfax, Afton, and Sharonville during his tenure. He was an avid animal lover and loved traveling with his wife, Ruth, in their 66 Ford camper that he built himself. He had a strong knowledge of how to invent things and salvage anything to build and create things. He also served his community as a paramedic. Friends are welcome to attend a visitation Wed. March 2, 2022 from 11 AM until 12 Noon service at Moore Family Funeral Home 225 Spring Street Batavia. Interment Bethel Tate Cemetery.
