Rev. Wendell P. Fetters

Reverend Wendell P. Fetters, a resident of Williamsburg, went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2022, at the age of 77. Wendell was born on August 9, 1945, in Adams County, Ohio to the late Mac and Gladys Fetters. Also preceded in death by his siblings Marion, Doug, Jim, Darlene, and Debbie, and his son-in-law Mark Roades. He was the loving husband of Neva Fetters (nee Puckett) for 55 years; beloved father of Marc (Kimberly) Fetters, Jamie (Teri) Fetters, Michelle (Jeff) McNeal, Anita Kratzer, John Fetters, and Robby Fetters; cherished Papaw of Matthew Fetters, Joshua Fetters, Allison (Jordan) Maiberger, Emily (Jerrode Jones) Fetters, Molly (Rainer) Duzan, McKenzie (Andrew) Deeds, Braden Hicks, Brooke Fetters, Griffin Taylor, Austin (Elizabeth) Bingamon, Jessica McNeal, Arsene Takam, Glenn Takam, Rylan McNeal, Bree Takam, Kris (Joseph Johnson) Kratzer, Kelly Kratzer, Billie Kratzer, Ethan Carraher, Abigail (Justin) Heist, Shane Fath, Lukas Fetters, Lylah Fetters, and Raina Fetters; and great-grandfather of Nathan, Ethan, Liam, Brayden, Noah, Ellie, Kara, Scarlett, Rowan, Charlee, Maddie, Dax, and Bailey. He is also survived by his siblings, Emma, Charlie, Diana, Danny, Rick, Ronnie, Terry, and Bernie. Wendell was a United States Army Veteran and a retired reverend of the Nazarene Church. He was a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene College and a member of the American Legion. Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 10AM until 12PM funeral service at the Sardinia Church of the Nazarene - 135 Sardinia Mowrystown Road, Sardinia, Ohio 45171. Interment will take place on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 10AM at Dayton National Cemetery - 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sardinia Church of the Nazarene.
