Vencil W. Conn

Conn, Vencil of Batavia, passed away on May 9th, 2023 at the age of 93. He was born on February 8th, 1930 in Cranston, Kentucky to Robert and Marylou Conn. On February 27th, 1954 he married the love of his life Janice (Elick) Conn and she survives. Vencil was a loving father to Kenneth (JoAnna) Conn, and Rhonda (Golden) Henson, a cherished grandfather to Amy and Brandon, great-grandfather to Michael, Paige, Cayden, Leah, Joey, and Dani. Vencil was also a beloved brother to Everett, Russell, Vernon, Lily, Lena, and Rosie. 

Vencil will be remembered as a very hard worker, having been a driver for the Ball corporation for 37 years. Outside of work he had a passion for taking care of horses and going camping (bringing the horses along). He also enjoyed spending time playing cards with his loved ones. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family will receive friends and loved ones for a visitation at Moore Family Funeral Homes - 225 Spring Street, Batavia, OH 45103- on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 at 11:00AM until time of service. Burial to follow at Batavia Union Cemetery. Care entrusted to Moore Family Funeral Homes.
