Tina A. Bowers

Advanced Senior Mother Tina Ann Bowers was born August 13, 1948 in Bethel, Ohio. She was born to Adv. Pres. Eld. Levi I. William Sells and Mother Thelma (Eversole) Sells who both preceded her in death.
Advanced Senior Mother Tina along with her mother and sisters joined The Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in 1958. She was raised in the House of Jacob with her siblings, Advance Senior Mother Pamela (Pres. Eld. Paul) Findley, of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Pres. Eld. Levi Israel (Eldrs. Lisa) Sells of Batavia, Ohio, and Mother Jacqueline (Elder Timothy) Myers of Batavia, Ohio.
In June of 1967, Mother Tina married of which she had 4 sons, Titus Myers of Cleves, OH, Hosea Myers of Harrison, Ohio, Cornelius (Erica) Myers of Brighton, Michigan and Brother Reuben (St. Julie) Myers of St. Thomas, Pennsylvania. Also 3 step-children; Kenneth Bowers, Jr. of Belton, South Carolina, David Bowers of Milford, Ohio and Miriam Justice of Milford, Ohio.
In September 1989 Mother Tina was offered a position at Jacob's Dwelling Nursing Home as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She did not hesitate to pack up and move to Bethlehem Township, Ohio to help care for God's people in a Godly setting.
On October 12, 1996 Mother Tina married Bishop K. Paul Bowers who preceded her in death. Bishop Bowers and Mother Tina traveled extensively throughout the United States. Advanced Senior Mother Tina was proud to have visited all but 2 missions in Israel. Mother Tina held other offices in Daughters of God: Senior Saints, Young Missionaries and Bible School. She was happy to serve in whatever capacity she was given. She enjoyed the history session she and Bishop Bowers would provide to the Saints of God. She leaves to cherish her memory, 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM on Monday, Dec. 6th with service Tuesday, Dec. 7th at 11 AM at the Moore Family Funeral Homes 225 Spring St. Batavia, OH. Interment Wednesday, Dec. 8th at 1PM graveside at Machpelah Cemetery Coshocton, Oh.
