Sherry Ann Harmon Rahlmann, age 74, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on April 23, 2022 surrounded by family.
Sherry was born on April 12, 1948 in Watseka, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Roberta Hall Harmon and stepfather Lawrence B. Harmon. She married Frederick Layne Rahlmann on July 30, 1977 in Science Hill, Kentucky. Sherry was a graduate of Pulaski County High School Class of 1966 and University of Kentucky. She taught one year at Science Hill Elementary before moving to Silver Grove, Kentucky. She was the K-12 Librarian for Silver Grove Schools for 26 years. After retiring from Silver Grove, she continued her love of books working thirteen years for Borders Bookstore until it closed. She was a member of Milford First United Methodist Church and the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. She loved her family, doing genealogy research and reading.
She is survived by her husband Frederick L. Rahlmann, her son Alan Rahlmann, daughter Jennifer Rahlmann and granddaughters Melanie and Emily Rahlmann. She is also survived by her brother Roy Harmon, brother David (Lynn) Harmon, sister Debbie (Danny) Price, brother-in-law Steve (Wanda) Rahlmann and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her mother, stepfather, sister-in-law Linda Beth Rahlmann Keller and brother-in-law Rod Keller.
Visitation will be April 29, 2022 from 11 AM until 1 PM time of service at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 6708 Main Street, Newtown, Ohio. Interment will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be in the form of donations to the National Kidney Foundation of Greater Cincinnati 615 Elsinore Place, #400, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202.
