Roy Clifford Mitchell

Vietnam Veteran, U.S. Army, MITCHELL, Roy Clifford Jr. Resident of Ripley, Ohio, May 13, 2018, age 76. Devoted husband of the late Evelyn Mitchell (1998). Loving father of Thomas H (Linda) Simpkins, Rebecca J. (Joseph) Petri, Rhonda Yelton, Roy C."Joey" III (Stephanie) Mitchell and Evelyn M. (Bobby) Bingham. Loving brother of "Buddy" Leslie Mitchell and the late Mary Mitchell (2016). Cherished grandfather of many numerous Grand and Great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, May 18, 11AM until time of service 1PM at Moore Family Funeral Home, 225 Spring Street, Batavia. Interment Batavia Union Cemetery. Roy was a Vietnam War veteran in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years at General Electric as a machinist. He was a member of the Williamsburg VFW, a member of the Amelia Masonic Lodge #590 and also a 1959 graduate of Batavia High School. Memorials may be directed to Wounded Warrior Project.
