Rollo M. Murphy

US ARMY - KOREAN WAR VETERAN MURPHY Rollo M. Age 91. Born July 10, 1929 in Batavia, OH to the late Frank and Oakey (Thompson) Murphy. He attended Batavia Schools and served his country overseas with the Military Police in the US Army during the Korean War. He was married to his loving wife, Elaine (Piercefield) for 64 years and had two children, was self-employed as a carpenter and later was honored to serve as Maintenance Supervisor for Batavia Township. Rollo enjoyed fishing as a hobby. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, his sister Jennie and brother Ralph. Rollo is survived by his son Dennis (Chris) Isaacs, daughter Brenda (Rusty) Fisher, 2 brothers, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Rollo passed away on January 10, 2021 at his home in Batavia. Family will receive friends Sunday, January 17th from 3 PM until 5 PM at Moore Family Funeral Home, 225 Spring Street, Batavia, OH. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Monday, January 18th in Batavia Union Cemetery.
