Rita J Sottoriva

Our sweet mother, Rita Jean Sottoriva, quietly left this world on October 21, 2021 at age 89. She was born on December 3, 1932 in Vandergrift PA to amazing parents Rose and Sam Ross. Rita was happily married to Raymond Sottoriva for 62 years. She is survived by daughters Christine and Mary Rose, son-in-law Rick, three grandchildren, Dustin and wife Annie, Amy and fiance Alessandro, and Mary Allison, brother Sam and sister-in-law Arlene, and many nephews and a niece. Her vocation as a registered nurse instilled in her a life-long love of wellness, and her gumption and intelligence kept her always learning. She nurtured everyone in her path, and her priority to family and faith was unshakable. We will celebrate her life in a private service this November at Horizon Community Church.
