Loving father of Justin (Christine Villarreal) Simmonds and Richard T. (Courtney) A. Simmonds. Stepson of Dennis Luithle. Loving brother of Rishae L. Hood, Heath M. Hood. Cherished grandfather of Richard A., Ryan T. and Jade E. Simmonds. Nephew of Patty Hudson, Steven (Karen) and Ronnie Simmonds. Uncle of Kira L. Hornsby. His best friends Diesel, Trouble and Chevy.

Family will receive friends for a Memorial visitation on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 11 AM until 12 noon all at the Moore Family Funeral Homes 225 Spring St. Batavia, OH 45103. Following visitation, an inurnment graveside service will take place at 12:30 PM at the Mount Moriah Cemetery, 686 Mt. Moriah Dr. 45245. Richard was a Knothole baseball coach for many years for the WG Intimidators and the WG Rage.
