Richard Iker

Iker, Richard resident of Batavia 11/26/19 age 70, beloved husband of Jenny (Frey) Iker for 24 years. Father of Rick (Holly), Matt, Josh, Daniel and Gabriel Iker. Brother of Brad and Mick Iker. Son of the late John and Blanche Iker. Son-in-law of Barbara Frey (Jim) Hoffman. Grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and his dog Fluffy. Family will receive friends Thursday, December 5th, for a Celebration of Life visitation from 6 PM until 7 PM at Moore Family Funeral Home, 225 Spring Street. Batavia, OH. Memorials may be directed to AutismSpeaks.org. Rick was a 1967 student of the first class that graduated from the old Batavia High School, now known as the Batavia Middle School on Bauer. He worked for Heekin Can and Cincinnati Milacron. He and his wife ran their own business for 10 years; Banners by Jenny and Big Top Canopies.
