"Just find a place to make your stand and take it easy" - Take it Easy by The Eagles.
This lyric really embodies Rick to a tee. Not only was it sung by his favorite band, but he was always taking the time to relax and not worry about the daily troubles of life or the world. He camped, hunted, fished, and boated a lot in his life, seemed like almost every chance he got when he wasn't flexing his mechanic muscles on Cars, Motorcycles, or the Conveyor Belts Delta Airlines had at CVG. The Reds and Bengals could be heard through his radio when they were playing, and he let that radio know just how he felt about them while they were playing. A better description would be a "Good Ol' Boy", not letting anything get in the way of what he thought, and telling it how it was, honest and blunt.
A time to celebrate Richard's Life will take place October 23, 2023, from 10am to 11am at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 225 Spring St. Batavia, OH 45103, with service to follow. Burial and graveside libations will take place at Batavia Union Cemetery following the service.
