Paul R. Ross

BATAVIA - Paul R. Ross, age 93, passed away on December 31, 2020. He was born on February 11, 1927 to the late John and Susana (nee Bacoucin) Ross. Paul was preceded in death by his first wife Rose Marie (nee Gleason) Ross in 2012; sons Dennis P. (Laura) Ross and David E. Ross; and daughter Deborah L. (the late Robert) Martin. Paul is survived by his wife Dorothy; sons Darrell J. (Nicole) Ross and Deron W. (Michelle) Ross; daughters Dannette A. (Jay) Mahaffey and Deanna J. (John) Cummings; grandchildren Paul, Lori, Joshua, Bradley, Bryan, Jessica, Andrew, Courtney, Zackary, Zoie, Colton, Shelby, Emily, and Lorel; numerous great-grandchildren, and brother Ronald Ross. Paul was a member of the United States Army during WWII, American Legion Post 72, and St. Veronica Catholic Church. Paul will always be remembered for his love of family, his love of music and woodworking, and his sense of humor. Family will receive friends at Moore Family Funeral Home in Batavia from 5PM-7PM on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Veronica Catholic Church at 10:30AM on Thursday, January 7, 2021, with interment and military honors following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
