Pat grew up in South St. Louis, the third of eight children, where her love and support of family began and also where she met Dave. Throughout her life, she touched many people in different ways, whether it was spending her time volunteering at Nationwide Children's Hospital, Habitat for Humanity or being the supporting force behind Dave throughout his 35-year career with Kroger.
People gravitated to Pat because of her inviting personality, beautiful smile, contagious laugh, unending amount of energy and willingness to give of her time and talents. She was always willing to help anyone with projects from painting, making curtains to last minute school projects for the kids. She loved being at their farm in Hillsboro and working on the farmhouse, barns and honeybees. She loved her bible study group whom she met with weekly and shared many of life's joys and challenges. She enjoyed spending her time sewing, cooking, golfing, vacationing, singing and hiking. She had a way of making birthdays, holidays, vacations and every day special. Patty's faith and family were her heart. It was at the center of everything she stood for and cared about....and she was the center of ours.
