Murphy, Maybelle C., long time resident of the Village of Batavia. Passed 1/28/2023 in Cincinnati, OH. born June 4, 1934 to her parents Jessie Elie and Fronie (nee Clark) Anderson in Piney Neck, North Carolina. Beloved wife of 44yrs. to the late Ralph Murphy, Jr. (April 28, 1996). Loving mother of Ralph Elie Murphy Jr. Sister of Jessie Ray and Bud Morris, Doll Tripp, Darlene Paxton and other Step-brothers and Step-sisters. Grandmother of the late Phillip W. Lindsey also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday 2/2/23 from 5PM to 7PM all at Moore Family Funeral Homes 225 Spring St. Batavia, OH. 45103. Graveside Service Friday 2/3/23 at 11AM at the Batavia Union Cemetery. Maybelle was always involved with the annual Christmas Celebration in the Village of Batavia. She was also the official Towncrier of the Village Of Batavia. Maybelle helped many families of Batavia with her hard work and loving care.
