PILCHER Maureen Patricia “Pat” of Union Twp., Age 73. Beloved wife of 50 years to Jim Pilcher, whom she met in San Francisco in 1965 and married soon thereafter – a true case of love at first sight. Loving mother of James Patrick (Melissa Ann) Pilcher and Christopher Scott (Katherine "Katie" Pritchard) Pilcher. Dear sister of Ruth (Richard “Rick”) Pino, Eileen (Al) Corvelo and the late David Michael “Mike” (surviving wife Jackie) Carroll. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas Aaron, Joshua James, Jeffrey Robert and Conner Jordan. A pediatric nurse and administrator who spent the last 23 years with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. A lifelong learner who earned her nursing degree, bachelor’s degree and master’s degree, finishing near the top of her class every time. A revered mentor who quickly passed those lessons on to others. Born in New Brunswick, Canada on May 8, 1943 to Philip J. Carroll and Ruth E. (Tarbox) Carroll. A fiercely loyal native of Gloucester, Mass. Fought her battle with cancer to the very end, passed away peacefully and without pain. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2 PM until 5 PM at the Moore Family Funeral Homes 6708 Main St. Newtown.
