Mary Ethel (nee Reed) age 90, resident of Batavia. Passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Devoted Wife of the late Robert Sims Owens (married in 1947). Cherished mother of Paul (Kathleen) Owens and Linda Allie. Beloved grandmother of Ian Allie, Natasha Isaacs (Joey), Melissa Wood and Erin Rowe. Proud great-grandmother of Parker and Presley Isaacs, Triston and Nina Wood and Skylar Rowe; soon to be great-great-grandmother to baby Elliot. Cherished friend and sister-in-law of Audrey Cromer Reed, dear wife of the late Harmie Reed, her sweet baby brother; nieces Sonya Reed, Darla Harp (Butch), Andrea Kesler (Joey) and great nephew and family Josh Reed Kesler (Destiny and baby Tennyson). Mary was born in East Bernstadt, Kentucky on May 30, 1929 and preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Martha Stewart Reed, five brothers: Esmer Owens, Harmie, Arthur, Oscar and Paul Reed, and one sister, Maggie Reed Owens. Mary loved her family more than anything else in life. She will be laid to rest at Snuffer Cemetery, East Bernstadt, KY, on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
