Mary Guenther

GUENTHER, Mary (nee Curry) age 92. Succumbed to a recent stroke and broken hip on August 13, 2023. Born June 14, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised in Batavia where she attended Batavia School. She also received a Child Care certification from the Red Cross in Florida. She met John "Bud" Guenther and they were married in Batavia where they had 12 children, 23 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. 4 sisters, 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews.

She was truly an inspiration to her family and a gentle soul who had great compassion for everyone. Mary really made the world a better place. She will undoubtedly be missed by her family and all who knew her. She is reunited in eternity with her loving husband "Bud" and three of her children, Louella Glass, Sheila Gentry and Ernest Guenther and 1 grandchild.

Mary's family sends their most heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospice Care, Edgewood, KY for their tender care during her last days. May she rest in peace.

Family will receive friends Friday, August 18, 2023 from 11 AM until 1 PM time of service at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 225 Spring Street, Batavia, OH, 45103.
