Lyndal Virginia Eigher

Lyndal V. Eigher (nee Hughes), age 96, passed from this life on April 7, 2020. Lyndal is survived by her daughters Nadine (Mike) McConnell and Annette (Larry) Newton, Grandchildren Christina (Andrew), Andrea, Michael, Melissa (Ash), Sean, Cory, and Kyle (Aimee), Great-Grandchildren Aaron, Kali, Lylah, Clara, Veronica, and Lilith, and by her nephew Rodney (Pamela). In addition to her parents Daniel and Lucille (Davis) Hughes, Lyndal is preceded in death by her brother Loren “Toby” Hughes, and her grand daughters's husband Andrew. She was a 1941 graduate of Batavia High School and enjoyed attending their reunions. Lyndal worked at Trailmobile, Lockwood, and most recently as a clerk typist at the City of Cincinnati Health Department and once retired, enjoyed spending more time with her grandchildren, reading, creative writing, attending plays, and activities at Hyde Park Center for Older Adults. She was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the last few years included serving on their board. She was a member of Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church. A private family service will be held at Batavia Union Cemetery.
