Loraine Hunter

Hunter, Loraine, passed away on April 6th, 2023, at the age of 68 years. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 27th, 1954, to the late Elwood and Susie (nee Raper) Sexton. Loving wife of the late Dennis “Joe” Hunter. Beloved mother of Josh (Jesi) Hunter, Annie (Ricky) Massmann, and Kristy (Jason) Schneider. Cherished sister of Denise Ziggas, the late Randy Sexton, and the late Gaye Davis. Loving grandmother to Emma, Deegan, Joey, Penny, Keyona, Kayla, Rylee, Rayven, Raylynn and Raychel. Great-Grandmother to Kendra, Ezra, Aria, Corinna, and Kaeden. She is also survived by her Mother-In-Law Wanda Hunter and numerous nieces and nephews.

Loraine could be described as the family's clown. Not in the sense that she was the butt of the joke, but she was the one making everyone crack up. She loved to tell jokes, laugh, and have a good time. At the gazebo she had at the house, she would host karaoke dance parties. Whether she was the one singing, or with everyone else dancing, she wasn't doing a very good job, but she was laughing and enjoying every bit of it. Just be careful not to tell her, cause she'd find something about you to throw back at you.

A gathering of friends and family will take place Thursday, April 13th, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm at the Moore Family Funeral Home, 6708 Main St. Newtown, OH 45244.
