Larry Bowen

Larry Paul Bowen, age 62, passed away on March 25, 2023. Born June 28, 1960 in New Castle, PA to Fred and Phyllis (nee Grote) Bowen. Loving Brother of Sandra Franz, Deborah Tanner, and Fred Bowen. Cherished Uncle to 8 Nieces and Nephews, and Great Uncle to 9 Great Nieces and Nephews.

Whenever you saw Larry, it would be pretty weird for him to not ask you how you were doing. He loved hanging out with his friends and just people in general, and making them smile and feel loved. He loved throwing parties, sometimes to the detriment of Sandy and the neighbors, due to the loud paying of oldies music. When he wasn't throwing a party, he was fishing, or watching football. He seemed to bleed Yellow and Black for his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. He would also help Sandy with her work with the Newtown Civic League, putting together gift baskets and items for their many dinners and outings.
