Kathryn F. ORME (Friend) (nee Puckett), 97, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 surrounded by those she loved. She was born August 19, 1924 in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Fred and Bessie Puckett. Kathryn was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Leonard A. Orme, Sr. She is survived by her 4 children: Len Orme, (Ann); Beverly Plath (Bob); Judy Young (Gene); and Tom Orme (Claudia). She later became the beloved wife of Ralph Friend who preceded her in death in 2006. Also, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Puckett and two sisters, Helen Bell and Janet Bell. She is survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Kathryn somehow found the strength she needed to endure her long illness through her faith. She had a wonderful sense of humor and brought many smiles to everyone around her, touching their lives in such a positive way. Her greatest legacy, however, is the imprints she left on those she loved. We will all share in the loss of someone so special.
