June Elaine Hall Surber, born June 22, 1941, peacefully passed away on January 22, 2025.

June was born and raised in Batavia, Ohio, and spent summers at her grandparents' home in Williamsburg. She found joy in gardening, learning to cook, and creating lasting memories with her beloved Aunt Helen and Grandmother.

For 83 years, June called Cincinnati home. There, she married her high school sweetheart, Jerry, and together they raised their four children: Pam, Jay, Todd, and Stephanie. Despite her busy life as a mother, June brought style, grace, and dignity to every aspect of her life.

A successful entrepreneur, June founded and operated June Surber & Associates, a Cincinnati-based design firm that earned her national recognition. Her artistic talents garnered numerous awards, and she was widely celebrated as a top designer in both residential and commercial design. Her work was featured in various media outlets, including television, radio, newspapers, and magazines.

June's passion for entertaining was evident in her gourmet cooking skills. She was the ultimate hostess, known for delighting family, friends, and business associates alike with her culinary talents. Her grandchildren especially adored her cheesecakes and pies, which continue to be fondly remembered and celebrated.

June was fortunate to have shared her life with two great loves. She was married to Richard Jerome Hall. She later married Oak Surber, with whom she shared 26 wonderful years until his passing. After the passing of Oak, June and Richard reunited and were together until his passing in 2023.

She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. June is survived by her cherished sister, Connie Spaulding; her beloved children, Pamela (Greg) Grigsby, Richard J. Hall, Todd E. Hall, and Stephanie M. Evans; and her dear step-children, Perry (Beth) Surber, Toni Surber, and Steve Surber. She was a devoted grandmother to Ryan Grigsby, Lauren (Theo) Booser, Christopher (Melodie) Hall, Brooke, Lang, and Reece Evans, Ean (Hanna) Hall, Nathan, and Claire Surber, and a proud great-grandmother to Gregory and Alice Booser. June is also survived by her nephews and niece, Tye and Clay (Katy) Spaulding. Great aunt to Shelby, Tye Jr., Sydney great great aunt to Wes, Liam Spaulding, Brodey and Kendall Spaulding Allison and other loving friends and family.

Private services will be held for the immediate family. Please keep June in your prayers as we honor her remarkable life and legacy. Memorials are preferred to a hospice of donor's choice.  Moore Family Funeral Home serving the family.
