Judy Ann Atwell

HAMILTON - Judy Ann Atwell, age 87, passed away on July 1, 2022. She was born on September 3, 1934 to the late Russell Thomas and Florence (Harold) VanSchuyver (nee Reed). Judy was the beloved wife of the late Glenford Atwell; cherished mother of Steve (Tammy) Anderson, Susan (late Bill) Garrison, the late Dave Anderson, and the late Rick (surviving Theresa) Thomas; she is also survived by her son Mike Anderson; dear sister of Diana Billbery, Rita Roberts, Jerry Thomas, the late Larry Thomas, the late Terry Thomas, and the late Barb Foster; and beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother of numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held in the chapel at Graceland Memorial Gardens on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11AM. 

Her Journey's Just Begun
Don't think of her as gone away,
her journey's just begun,
Life holds so many facets,
this earth is only one,
Just think of her as resting,
from the sorrows and the tears,
In a place of warmth and comfort,
where there are no days or years,
Think how she must be wishing,
that we could know today,
How nothing but our sadness,
can really pass away,
And think of her as living,

and she was loved so much.
