John M. Stephens

STEPHENS John M. of Union Twp. Age 62. Beloved husband of Arlene C. Stephens (nee Wentzel) Married May 6, 1972. Brother of Elayne Ankrom, twin brother of the late Jim Stephens (Vietnam Veteran). Step brother of Sandy Dryer, Sherri Smith, Yvonne Smith and Russell Smith. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephes. Born October 11, 1951 in Covington, Ky. to John James Stephens and Dorothy Helen Pitzer. John was a custom framer of crafts and artwork. He did many drawings, he did one for the Vietnam Veterans members of chapter 649 of union township which was put in Cincinnati Enquirer January 3, 1993. Under the picture it read John Stephens the artist rendering shows how the memorial will look once it is topped by a decommissioned Vietnam-Era Uh-1 "Huey" helicopter. They put the picture on display at the dedication of the Clermont County Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Union Township Park. A Celebration of Life service will be held 2 PM May 3, 2014 at the Vineyard Eastgate Community Church 1005 Old State Route 74 Batavia, Ohio 45103. Moore Family Funeral Home assisting the family.
