Army Veteran BOAZ Jewell K. Jr. Age 73 of Anderson Twp. Beloved husband of Bonnie L. Nice (nee Holzwarth) Boaz. Father of Jennifer Boaz and John (Kamber) Boaz. Step-father of Donna (Mike) Nice and Randy (Patricia) Nice. Son of the late Jewell K. Sr. and Bertha (nee Settle) Boaz. Dear brother of Edward (Ellen) Boaz, Hal (Sandie) Boaz and the late Wanda L. Boaz. Grandfather of Kaylee Boaz and Sophia Boaz. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jewell was a Volunteer Firefighter and Squad Chief of the Life Squad with the former Newtown Dept. serving his community as a Captain and Assistant Fire Chief. Family will receive friends 10 AM Thursday, May 4, 2017 until 12 Noon service at the Moore Family Funeral Home, Newtown where Yeatman Lodge # 162 F. & A. M. will hold services at 11:30 AM.
