Jerry W. Pennington

Jerry W. Pennington, age 71, passed away among his loving family on May 26, 2022.

He was born March 1, 1951 to Lily and James Pennington, in Rushville, IN. He served as a cook in the Army, leading into his 35 year career with Arbys. After leaving as Director of Operations, he started up his own trucking company, Anytime Anywhere Trucking, where he spent the rest of his days operating and growing.

When he wasn't working on the business, he was spending it with his loving family, that he grew with his wife of 50 years, Rhonda Gail Pennington (nee Lewis).

They would have 5 kids together, Rebecca, Jerry Jr. (Samantha), Aaron (Trisha), Amanda (Matt), and Jammie (Rob). Which lead to 27 Grandchildren, Chelsey, Mariah, Larry III, Aaron Jr., Brice, Landon, Emily, Johnny, Matt, Zach, Evan, Madison, Morgan, Whitney, Lilly, Cameron, Jerry III, Olivia, Marilyn, Samuel, Tyler, Bridget, America, Braxton, Zayde, Rozzlyn, and Andrew. Never stopping to love each and everyone as they would welcomed each new Great-Grandchild, including Mason, Kohen, Chase, Dawson, Cayden, LJ IV, and many more on the way.

The large family mentality was instilled early, as he had 14 brothers and sisters. Proceeded by Laverne, Thomas, Kenneth, and Joanne. Survived by Jim, Judy, Sandy (Pete), Kathy, Jean, Rick, Carl, Linda, Barb, and Tim.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, May 31, from 5pm to 8pm at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 6708 Main St. Newtown, OH 45244. Masonic service will take place at 7pm.

A Funeral Service will take place 11am, Wednesday, June 1, at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 6708 Main St. Newtown, OH 45244.

Burial to follow Funeral Service at Williamsburg Cemetery, 824 Gay St. Williamsburg, OH 45176.

The family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon following interment at Owensville United Methodist Church, 2580 US-50, Owensville, OH 45103.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Reds Community Fund.
