James Lee Yates, age 80. Resident of Amelia, OH. Passed away on September 28, 2019. Devoted to his family, creative in his profession. Loving Husband of 62 years to Marlene Yates. Proud father of James (Pamela) Yates, John (Tamara) Yates, and Michael C. Yates. Loving Grandfather to Nicole, Nathan, Wade, and Hayden. Great-Grandfather to Lilee, Cash, and Jackson. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Family will receive friends Saturday, October 5th, 2019 for a 12 o’clock noon Memorial Service at Mt. Moriah UMC Chapel in Withamsville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Hospice of Cincinnati, or the American Cancer Society.
