Army Veteran
RINK
James Raymond of Milford, age 74. Beloved husband of Aimee E. Rink (nee Ericson). Son of the late William Albert and Anna Mae House Rink. Brother of the late Joyce (Frank) Rayburn. Loving father of Chad (Sarah), Jason (Tisa), and Nathan (Kellie) Rink. Dear grandfather of Ethan, Jon (Elise), Adam, Aiden, Xander, Noah, Grayson, Liam, Emily Joy, and the late Eva Marie.
Those who were closest to him would agree that you didn’t just meet Jim Rink…you experienced him. He was known for his sense of humor, love of Bluegrass music, and generosity toward his friends and family. He and Aimee frequently attended Bluegrass festivals in their iconic converted Greyhound Bus. He loved picking and jamming with the local Bluegrass community, who he saw as extended family. He also loved spending half of the year away from the Cincinnati winters, breathing the ocean air in Ft. Meyers, Florida.
After he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, he took that love for Bluegrass and started a band, 38:20. Through the band, Jim, along with Aimee and their bandmates, found his calling and satisfaction serving the Lord, giving his testimony, and ministering through music.
Family will receive friends 10 am Tuesday, Aug. 24th until 12 Noon time of service at Crosspointe Baptist Church 4596 Bells Lane Cincinnati, OH 45244. Interment in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be directed to the Ft. Meyers Salvation Army or to Crosspointe Baptist Church: Sam Judd Music Ministry.
