James A. Nester

BATAVIA - James A. Nester, age 92, passed away on October 5, 2021. He was born on March 23, 1929, to the late Grover and Flutena (nee Dalton) Nester. James was the devoted husband of Ruth (nee Eastwood) Nester; loving father of James (Kathy) Nester, Donna (Dick) McCabe, Carol (John) Rossmann, and Nancy (Roger) Long; beloved grandfather of Ryan McCabe, Amber Rossmann, Maxwell Long, Eva Nester, Nathan Long, Chrystin Wimoth, and Caroline Vineyard; cherished great-grandfather of Emma Long, Alexis Wilmoth, and Rowan Wilmoth; dear brother of the late Jesse Nester, the late Vernon Nester, the late Leo Nester, the late Clinton Nester, the late Juanita Galinger, the late Leona Deutenberg, the late Bessie Jayne Bruegge, the late Reba Ellen Herman, and the late Barbara Ann Cole; and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. James was proud to have served in the Marines, and was a member of the VFW Post in Mt. Orab and the Marine Corp League. Family will receive friends from 10:30AM until 11:30AM funeral on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Moore Family Funeral Homes in Batavia - 225 Spring Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103.
