Jim was born to Cliff and Marge Blackman Howard on September 27, 1940 and grew up in the little town of North East, Pennsylvania (near Erie). He graduated from North East High School and University of Cincinnati. Jim was also an Army veteran and served during the Viet Nam War. He worked for Cincinnati Bell, a number of consulting engineering firms, taught electronics at Cincinnati State, and worked at Cincinnati Milacron until he retired. He is survived by two brothers, John (Kay) Howard of Beverly Hills, Florida and David (Geri) Howard of North East, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his wife, Sandra Seychew Howard, and four children Deborah (Bill) Dewhurst of Lynchburg VA, Lois (Michael) McFarland of Loveland OH, Jimmy (Tabitha) of Annapolis MD and Marjorie (Eric) Metz of Loveland OH, and sixteen grandchildren: Zachary McFarland, Meagan Dewhurst, Nathanael McFarland, Mark McFarland, Bethany Dewhurst, Katelyn McFarland, Lindsey Dewhurst, Aimee Dewhurst, Rebekah McFarland, John Metz, James Metz, Nathan Dewhurst, Aaron McFarland, Molly Metz, Emily Dewhurst and Jaden Metz. He was predeceased by his parents Cliff and Marge Howard. Family will receive friends Sunday, December 2nd, 1:30 PM until 4:00 PM at Faith Church, 5910 Price Road, Milford, OH 45150, where services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, December 3rd.
