James Philip Grim

James "Philip" Grim left us to be with his heavenly family on Sunday, May 22, 2022.  Philip is survived by his youngest daughter, Yvonne (Mark) Richards;  3 grandsons Jordan Elder, Zachary Elder, and Logan (Kaylynn) Wilson, and 2 great grandsons, Bryan Elder and Hoyt Wilson, one sister Janet Williamson of Athens, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Philip is preceded in death by his wife, Gale, his oldest daughter Delores, his parents, Otis and Mollie Grim, 3 brothers, John Jr, Truman and Billy, 2 sisters AnnaLee and Joann. Family will receive family and friends Thursday May 26, 2022 from 11 AM until 1 PM at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 225 Spring Street, Batavia, OH 45103.  Chapel Service 1:45 PM at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH.  Philip was a 1959 graduate of Albany High School in Albany, OH.  After graduation, Philip married Gale and they moved to Cincinnati to build their life together.  Philip owned a successful plumbing business for over 40 years where he made numerous friends that became family. He dedicated his life to helping anyone that needed a hand and raising his family.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed his time outdoors.  He never met a stranger and loved his time with his grandsons and great grandsons until the end.
