Air Force Veteran HAFER Howard of Union Twp., Age 84. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Moore) Hafer, Loving father of Barbara (Kevin) McKee, Robert (Viona) Hafer, Steve Hafer and Joseph Hafer. Dear brother of Thelma, Bill and Bob . Grandfather of Jessica (Brett) Hammack, Kaitlyn & Erin McKee, Wesley & Savannah Hafer. Great-grandfather of McKenzie & Haylie Hammack. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering of friends and family will be held 10 AM Saturday, August 27, 2016 followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11 AM at the Batavia Faith United Methodist Church 180 N Fifth Street Batavia, Ohio 45103. Memorials may be directed to his church.
