Vietnam Marine Veteran Jester, Herbert Allen, age 64, of Blue Creek, Oh. Husband of Hattie M. (Parker) Jester. Father of Curtis R. (Merlinda) Baker, Chloe D. Newkirk, Kenneth W. (Kathleen) Baker, Raymond M. Baker, Melisia J. Israel, Krisleen R. (Adam) Purdy & the late Renee M. Baker. Brother Thomas J., Gilbert, Albert W., (Buddy) Jester & the late Charlene Hoskins. Grandfather of Matthew, Jaimie, Andrew, Allen, Thomas, Cody, Kailee, Delton, Waylon, Whitney, Raymond, Laura, Lennie Sue, Ruby. Great-grandfather of Kelsey, Cora, Lily, Liam,Coltin and McKenly. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday 5:30 to 8:30 PM at the Moore Family Funeral Home 225 Spring Street Batavia, Ohio 45103 with service Wednesday 1 PM. Interment of cremains Greenberry Cemetery. He was a union painter for 25 yrs., worked for the Adams County Veteran's Services where he volunteered as a transporter. He logged over 50,000 miles transporting veterans. He was in the Veteran's Hall of Fame & was a Medal for Valor recipient.
