Henry Clyde Stewart

Age 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in Anderson, Ohio. He was born on June 26, 1935 in Exeter, Virginia.

A U.S. Army veteran, Clyde dedicated his life in service to our country. He was employed at Ford Motor Company for 40 years. Hard work was what he did, but a husband, father, brother, friend and “Papaw,” was who he was. A steady pillar of love, strength, loyalty and peace to all who knew him.

Clyde is preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Joanne Stewart, and a heavenly host of friends. He is survived by son Steve Stewart; grandchildren, Cristina (Kevin), Ciera (Kevin), Jason, Christopher, Aaron and Ashley (David); brothers Joe, and Johnny (Doloris), and his sister Ann.

Services will be held at Moore Family Funeral Home, 225 Spring Street, Batavia, OH 45103, on Monday, November 22, 2021, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Service will follow. Clyde’s earthly body will be laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, OH.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Hospice of Cincinnati in Anderson, for their loving care of Clyde in his final hours. Memorial donations may be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati in his honor.
