Helen Wiseman Gilchrist

GILCHRIST, Helen C. Wiseman, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, June 26, 2014. Born February 23, 1930, in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Pauline Calvert. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Wiseman, MD of fifty-one years and siblings Wanda, George, Harold and grandson Chris. She is survived by her husband of seven years, James E. Gilchrist of Terrace Park, OH; and children, Thomas A. (Patricia) Wiseman of Vero Beach, FL, Wendy J. (William) Myers of St. Louis, MO, Andrew W. (Jillian) Wiseman of Marietta, GA, and Amy L. (Jerome) Flynn of St. Louis, MO; her brother, Rev. Donald Calvert; grandmother of Gabby, Drew, Lilly, Amy, Stephanie, Kate, Julia, Jimmy, Jacob, Sarah, Mara, Shem, Jenny, and five great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church, Saturday, July 19, at 10:30 A.M. The family will greet friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
