Helen Momich, 99, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 29, 2014 at Eastgatespring of Cincinnati, 4400 Glen Este-Withamsville Road. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Adam and Mara Momich on July 20, 1914. She married Wesley Bernayes Boatman, Sr. on June 3, 1944. Helen is survived by her son, Wes Boatman, Jr., his wife Carolyn, three grandchildren, Melissa Sexton, April Chappell, and John Sullivan, Jr., and three great grandchildren, Kathryn Sexton, Jacob Sexton, and Jeffrey Sullivan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Mara Momich, her husband, Wesley B. (Bill) Boatman, Sr., brothers, Adam Momich, Steve Momich, and sister Viola Gilbert. She was a member of the Cherry Grove United Methodist Church, where she served as substitute pianist and organist. She was also the organist at Covert Chapter, Order of Eastern Stars, for more than fifty years. She volunteered at Mercy Hospital Anderson, as a pianist in the Hospital Atrium. The family asks that friends consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Cincinnati Chapter, or Hospice of Cincinnati. Visitation will be Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Moore Family Funeral Home in Newtown where Covert Chapter O.E.S. will hold services at 7 PM. Funeral Service will be Friday, April 4th at 11:00AM.
