Anderson Township - FISCHER, Georgia L. (nee Buffington) age 67. Beloved wife of 38 years to Gary J. Fischer. Daughter of the late George H. and Charlotte L. (nee Halloran) Buffington. Dear sister of Lynn C. (Karla) Buffington. Loving aunt of Jackie, Lisa, Nicole, Marcus, Nikki, Molly & grand nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 14th from 10 AM until 11 AM service at Moore Family Funeral Home, 6708 Main Street, Newtown OH. Remembrances may be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati or The American Cancer Society. Interment Arlington Memorial Gardens. Georgia's favorite activities were traveling, photography, and she enjoyed many crafts- crocheting, cross-stitch, & needle-point. Georgia loved spending time with family and sharing memories. She was an avid reader of many types of novels. Suspense was her preferred genre. Georgia received her degree at Cincinnati Technical College (CTC), and retired from Cincinnati Bell in 2009. She fought a 5+ year battle with cancer.
