Garry A. Coleman

Proud Marine Veteran. Garry A. Coleman of Newtown, Ohio age 72 peacefully passed on May 10, 2023. Born October 30, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio to his late parents Robert and Helen (Young) Coleman. Devoted husband of 52 years to Gail (Hogue) Coleman. Loving father of Sondra (Roger) Dawson and Melissa (Steve) Jasper. Cherished Poppal of Tyler (Hannah), Ryan, Luke, and Jake. Also, survived by 2 brothers Robert Coleman and Glenn (Kim) Coleman.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 10 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM at Moore Family Funeral Home, 6708 Main Street, Newtown, Ohio 45244. Military honors will follow at a private graveside ceremony immediately following the memorial service for immediate family and close friends.

Garry had a long career working for the City of Cincinnati as a Public Works Inspector for 30 years and then began working for Adleta Construction as a Project/Safety Manager for 20 years. Anyone that ever met Garry knew how special he was and that he never met a stranger. Garry always had a smile on his face and would help anyone out that needed it.

Garry enjoyed spending quality time at the casino with his wife Gail, taking family vacations, and watching his grandsons playing sports. Garry enjoyed in his spare time golfing, watching Nascar, and rooting on his hometown teams Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. He enjoyed his many trips out to Vegas for work and leisure with family and friends.
