Florentine Cafferky

Cafferky, Florentine T., passed away on October 8th, 2023 at the age of 90. She was born on October 28th, 1932 to parents Edmund Pax and Francis (Meyer) Pax.

Florentine was a devout Catholic who spent many years as a member of the Rosary Altar Society, as well as the Worship Committee at her parish, and even made vestments for priests in her spare time. She was a talented artist and liked gardening, and sewing. She loved spending time with family and watching Notre Dame football.

Florentine is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald, beloved son Sean Cafferky, beloved daughters Kelly Cafferky and Colleen (Joe) Sharkey, grandchildren Tyler (Becca) Griffin, Brandon (Katie) Cafferky, Patrick Klunk, and Ryan Sharkey, and great-grandchildren, Silas Griffin and Felix Griffin. Florentine was also the devoted sister of Leonard, Richard, Charles, Vincent, Laverne, Rita, Edwina, Bernadette, Barbie, Ruth, Juanita, Norma, Mary Catherine, and Madonna.

Visitation will take place Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 10:30am to 12pm Noon at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 6708 Main St. Cincinnati, OH 45244. Funeral Mass will take place at 12pm noon. Burial at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Road Cincinnati, OH 45249.
