Faye Shannon

Faye Shannon (nee Thompson,) age 78, of Cincinnati, OH was called home to be with the Lord on March 21, 2021. Loving wife of Charles L. Shannon since October 4, 1969, Faye spent her life devoted to her church and her family. Faye was born November 14, 1942 in Yerkes, KY to her late parents Jace and Ida Thompson. Faye was preceded in death by her siblings Arnold, Ethel, Edward, Jerolene, Barbara and her twin brother Ray; and is survived by brother Otis. Faye was a loving mother to her children Gail (Ronnie Martin) Mullins, Tammy (Matthew) Williams, Steve Mullins, Beth (Jesse) Kyle; son-in-law Steve Syphax; and step-children Kim (Dean) Abner, and the late Charles Jr. Faye, as a loving Mamaw, was preceded in death by her grandson Brian Abner, and leaves behind grandchildren Shannon (Adam) Ogard; Steven, Stephanie, and Stacy Syphax; Jesse, Zachery, and Samuel (Autumn) Williams; Jace Mullins; and Abby and Bailey Kyle; and several great-grandchildren. Faye was also an aunt to many nieces and nephews she loved dearly. Faye's love for her family, her church, and a good yard sale, will be missed by all who knew her.
