Eva Covey

Covey, Eva Mae (nee Armstrong) went to be with the Lord November 30, 2024 at the age of 96. She was born in Covington, KY on June 18, 1928 to her late loving parents Henry and Ollie (nee Walls) Armstrong. Devoted wife of the late Carl J. Covey. Loving mother of Ricky C. (Teresa) Covey, Vicky (Karl) Covey/Tribull, Russell J. (Letrish) Covey, Tim R. (Eva) Covey. Sister of Henry Clinton Armstrong and the late Jack Armstrong. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Family will receive friends Monday, December 9, 2024 at Torch Community Church, 6767 Hopeful Road, Florence, KY 41042 (513) 614-3483 from 11 AM until time of service 12 Noon. She will be buried next to her devoted husband of 40 years at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Covington, KY.  After all her children were born in 1963, Eva worked for 20 years at Duro Paper Bag Company as a Mail Clerk. She was a devoted Christian and attended Kenton Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and helped her husband as church treasurer. She was involved in Women's Ministry and supported several missionaries. Eva was a prayer warrior, even in her last weeks she would continue to say "I am praying for you."  Her favorite saying to all was "My Love and Prayers are always with you."  She loved her cat, "Sweetie."  Eva's hobbies included crocheting, playing cards and watching every type of game show.  Memorials may be directed to the church.
