Waltz, Edward "Ed" Joseph, 67 of Union Township, Clermont County, Ohio
passed away suddenly on Saturday November 15, 2014 at his residence. He was
born June 5, 1947 in Union Township, Ohio to George Edward and Grace D. Waltz
(nee Adkins), and his father preceded him in death.
Ed grew up in Batavia, Ohio and graduated from Batavia High School. Ed was
devoted to his family and helping those in need. He was a member of the
Boilermaker's Local 105.
Ed became a Master Mason at Moscow Lodge 122; a 32 Degree Scottish Rite
Mason; a Compatriot of the NSSAR, Cincinnati Chapter, and a Kentucky Colonel.
Ed is survived by his loving and devoted wife of nearly 20 years, Nancy Waltz
(Simmons). Ed was a proud and devoted father of Joseph Edward Waltz and is
survived by him.
Ed enjoyed many interests; hunting, fishing, sports, reading, history and travel.
He especially loved animals and had a special bond with their beloved Daschund,
Oscar who lived to be 18 years and 2 months. Ed had an outgoing personality
with a wonderful sense of humor and had many friends who will all miss him
dearly.
Ed is also survived by his brother Larry (Christine) and sister Judy (Greg) White,
also his dear mother, Grace D. Dietrick. Ed is a beloved Uncle of many nieces and
nephews.
Services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 2 PM until 4 PM at Moore Family Funeral Home, 225 Spring Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103.
