Donna S. Block

Donna Sue Block was a caring, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend. She left this world suddenly on August 5th, 2021, at age 67. Donna was born to Oscar and Martis Woods on July 11, 1954, in Covington Ky. As a young adult, she met Jorge A Ventura who gave her her only child Carina Simonin, on October 21st, 1979. She spent her life working in the food and beverage industry and making a home for her daughter. Donna loved spending time with her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren and never failed to give them the world. Donna was known to her friends and family as a born hustler and lovable smartass. She never said no to perfectly cooked chicken wings and a single cold Budweiser. Donna is survived by two Brothers, Harry Woods and George Woods; two Sisters, Beatrice Price and Patricia Martis Hart; one Daughter, Carina Simonin; two Granddaughters, Destinee Simonin and Faith Wilmoth; two Grandsons, Bobby Wilmonth and Kane Breen; and two Great-Grandsons, Remington Gilbert and King Hardy. Donna was predeceased by her Mother and Father, Oscar and Martis Woods; her Sister, Evelyn Campbell; and her Brothers, Rufus and Joseph Woods. Family will receive friends from 1PM until 2PM memorial service at Batavia Faith United Methodist Church on Sunday, August 15, 2021. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made directly to the family to help defray final expenses. Following the memorial service, a wake will be held from 4PM until 6PM at the Simonin residence, 884 Anderson Hills Drive Cincinnati, Ohio 45230.
