KNIGHT, Donald, age 84, resident of Anderson Township. Loving husband of Caroline for 61 years. Loving father of Thomas Knight, Timothy Knight, Todd (Jordana) Knight, Tracy (Bill) Waddle and Tobi (Scott) Harris. 13 Grandchildren, 2 late Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren and 1 on the way. Donald was a Sergeant with the Marine Corps 1953-1956 and served in Japan, Korea and later at Great Lakes, IL when he mustered out as a cross country prisoner chaser. He served with the Marine Corps League Attachment #393 for about 15 years plus doing parades, etc. He worked in sales most of his career span. In life insurance sales with Commonwealth Life, Regional Sales Director with Burnham Van Lines, Maytag Van and Allied Van Lines in many states and as moving sales estimator with Ehmke Movers, Cincinnati, OH. He finished out in contractor sales at Furrows Lumber and Faucet Jewelry and Pawn in firearms sales. His hobbies were cooking, pool, bowling, fishing and most of all talking to people. He loved gospel, bluegrass and country music. Donald and Caroline are members of Withamsville Church of Christ for over 45 years. Family and friends may visit 6 PM - 9 PM, June 29, 2018 at Withamsville Church of Christ, 846 Ohio Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45245 Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM, June 30, 2018 at Withamsville Church of Christ with Pastor Mike Gross and Garvin Claibourne officiating.
