David Michie Strasser

On Tuesday, September 4th, 2018, David Michie Strasser, loving husband of Denise and father of Lee, passed away at the age of 63 after a difficult battle with Parkinson's disease. David was born on December 5, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Albert Emil and Betty Witte Strasser. He was an alumnus of Cincinnati Country Day School and Indian Hill High School, and received his Bachelor's degree from Lake Forest College. David founded Strasser Inc., where he specialized in property management and maintenance for over twenty five years. David was a huge supporter of his family, embodying the necessary attention to detail and logistical mind in a house full of creatives. While David cherished old friends and reminiscing in front of roaring fires with the Grateful Dead playing, he also had a gift for making new friends everywhere he went. He had an inquisitive nature, passion for learning, quick wit, and a kind and compassionate soul. His hobbies included listening to vinyl, studying Art History and taking his beloved poodle and star of the class, Picasso, to agility training. David was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Denise, daughter Lee, sister Sharon Boswell (Wilson) and brother James Strasser (Karen). A private service was held with his family. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
