AMELIA - Danny R. Saddler, age 77 passed away on June 17, 2024. He was born on January 15, 1947, to the late Sherman and Zoda (nee Smith) Saddler. Danny was the loving father of Danette Chumbley and step-father of Luanne Shelton and Ted Ott; cherished grandfather of Kris (Shaunda Jones) Saddler, Devyn (Justin) West, Michael Shelton Jr., John (Nora) Moorehouse, and Terry Shelton; beloved great-grandfather of Arianna, Malakii, Aleigha, Axl, Tiana, Damien, Drake, Zaylynn, Briana, and Bianca; great-great grandfather of Bowen, Hadley, and Adalynn; husband of of Diana Saddler; and dear brother of Betty Stanchfield, Robert Saddler, Sr., Linda Chambers, the late Sherman Saddler, Jr., the late Margaret Lynch, and the late Carl Saddler. 

Danny loved camping and hiking, and was a huge fan of both the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds. He was a proud Army Veteran and following his exit from service became a truck driver for many years.

Friends and family may visit on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 5PM until 6:50PM military honors at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 225 Spring Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Danny's honor may be made to a charity of choice.
