Resident of Williamsburg, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 17, 2019, at 70 years of age. Survived by wife and best friend of over 46 years, Tamara Cordts. Daughters, Kacy (Todd) McGregor and Lauren (Brandon) Carmean. Siblings William Cordts and JoAnne Maloney. His most cherished moments were those spent with his dear grandchildren Mackenzie, Emma, Owen and Luke. Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University and later furthered his education as he received his Master of Science at Xavier University. He owned his own real estate appraisal business, DC Appraisals, and was an instructor at Southern State Community College. He accepted the Lord during his time served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam era. His life was defined by his devotion to his family, his church and his firm belief in God. He served as a deacon at Batavia Baptist Temple for the past 20 years and will be dearly missed. Friends and family will be received Monday October 21, 2019, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:30 AM at Batavia Baptist Temple, 770 S. Riverside Drive, Batavia, Ohio 45103 (513-732-2739).
