Carrie Elizabeth Scott

Carrie Elizabeth Osterholz Scott, born December 15, 1914 in Newtown Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 19th, 2019 in DeForest, Wisconsin. Carrie was married to John Scott November 2nd, 1935. They had two children: daughter Carolyn (Allen) Frey and son Eddie Scott. Carrie had three granddaughters, six great-granddaughters and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband John, her brothers Lewis, Francis and Albert Osterholz, her sister Alma Hull, and her great-grandson. Carrie loved flowers and enjoyed tending her flower beds as well as her many houseplants. Carrie loved to crochet and made many doilies and afghans. She even crocheted flying saucer toys for her granddaughters. In her later years Carrie enjoyed working word search puzzles and spending time visiting with her friends and family. Visitation will be Thursday, September 26 from 11 – 2 pm at Moore Family Funeral Home, 6708 Main Street, Newtown, OH. Burial will follow in Flagg Spring Cemetery, Newtown, OH.
