Carol Ann Mersch

CHARLOTTSVILLE, VIRGINIA - Carol Ann Mersch, age 82, previously of Union Township, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025. She was born on November 6, 1942 to the late William and Roberta (nee McMillan) Richey. Carol was the loving wife of the late Richard Mersch, and beloved mother of Carol "Carrie" J. (Bennett "JD") Rocket. 

Throughout her life, Carol enjoyed playing cards, scrapbooking, and traveling with the Goetta Girls, her neighbors, and her family. She loved her excursions to dinners and theaters wearing beautiful outfits with matching jewelry. Carol was also fond of snuggling with her kitty and watching crime dramas on television. 

Family and friends may visit on Monday, January 13, 2025, at St. Veronica Catholic Church from 9AM until 10AM Mass. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
